Women

I know I risk losing all credibility and reputation by pursuing this touchy subject - women - but I’m still lacking as to what the subject of this blog should be.Er, before I begin on my journey of further knowledge, one question vexes me: why the hell don’t we already have a better understanding of the opposite sex after 200,000 years of Homo Sapien’s existence.During the period of early man, the great Fred Flintstone once said, ‘Barney, I don’t think we’ll ever understand women…’. If we have failed for such a long period of time there can be only two causes: either women have been adapting over the centuries to exceed our own advances becoming more and more complex or we men are just too stupid (I can almost hear the women who are reading this thinking to themselves, ‘Uh huh! That’s right!’). I would prefer it if the answer were not the latter but I haven’t quite the proof to dismiss it totally yet.

The past century has seen the rise of the female species as a power to be reckoned with. An immense change has taken place and we men are faced with a threatening situation. Women stride across the busy streets of major cities supporting families. Women lead successful companies to future profit. Women work in jobs that were originally male-dominated now. It seems they are quickly becoming the hunters we once prided ourselves in being. And what do I do? Well, I slouch on my comfortable, swivelling chair and, out of lack of better idleness, write down what comes to my mind in this blog - a true hunter.

    HI, it’s me again :)
Maybe you shouldn’t strive to understand the opposit sex so much as to understand yourself while you’re involved with the opposit sex and in living life. There is a basic difference between male and female that is there for a purpose, but all in all, maybe the difference is not male and female so much as it is the difference between each and every one of us.
The thing about trying to figure something out is that when talking about it to others, you may get more then you bargained for because there’s as many different opinions about what, how and why as there are people on earth. No one person has it right and yet, everyone has it right. Life is strange in that we make it what it is, for good and bad. We are the creators and are given the ability to think for that purpose. Trust that you are a wise and considerate person and then let life and experiences provide you with the answers you seek and also, don’t be in such a hurry to get all the answers! I’m 39 and since things change all the time, some answers are hard pressed to remain in the right.
Anyway…I like that you are a thinking man…this says something very good about you. Peace brother!

Hehe, I mainly wrote this small entry because of a previous experience with a girl which went awry.

During that experience, I went through quite a few strange scenarios that I couldn’t understand, and that quite frankly pissed me off. ;)

    Dear Dragunov,
to be perfectly honest with you, women do not want to be understood. They want men to listen and do exactly what they are told, but sometimes we really do wish that we could speak to a man and he would understand us. It is just as hard on us, as far as we know, men could still be primates- they still look like them!
I dont mean to be that harsh upon the male sex, but its all true. Most men can be modelled on HOMER SIMPSON. Its such a shame when you are in search of an intellectual conversation and all they can seem to do is talk to your breasts.
I usually find this very amusing, as it is how i met my boyfriend dara, an ape of a man if there ever was one!
Jeremy, you are a smart lad with a voice that could of made Boudicca weak at the knees.
    Good luck!

Oh lord, I sounded like such a ponse in my reply (bottom of list). I don’t still believe all that rubbish, but in some cases I would have to agree with my past self.
P.S.. im not a feminist! I do not own a copy of The Feminine Mystique, and I don’t like Germaine Greer!
