I started this journal because I had received praise for my writing and it came at a time when I was stuck in a gap year between high school and university [edit: this is no longer applicable. I've entered an optional 13th year of high school - see Grade 13].

The name’s Jeremy Dalton - I’m 18 years old, I was born in London, I emigrated to the United Arab Emirates at the age of 3, and I have been living there in a city called Sharjah ever since.
